SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A boy in his mid-teens suffered serious head injuries when he walked into the path of a moving car and was struck, a San Diego police officer said Sunday.
The accident was reported at 8:06 p.m. Saturday, in the 2200 block of Commercial Street, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The teenaged boy walked into the path of a 1999 Oldsmobile driven by a man in his 40s, Stafford said. The teen was transported to a trauma center with serious head injuries.
The Traffic Division was investigating the accident, he said.
