SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A construction vehicle hit a fire hydrant in the Miramar area Wednesday, creating a wet mess.

The accident caused a huge geyser along the 6500 block of Miramar Road near Camino Santa Fe. Water shot up about 150 feet in the air before crews were able to turn it off.

Some of the water landed on the roof of a nearby lumber company, causing a bit of a scare, but the damage was minor.
