Eliga is turning 13-years-old on Tuesday and like most kids his age he wants an iPod Touch or a PlayStation 3 for his birthday. But unlike most kids his age, Eliga's birthday wish list includes finding a family to call his own.

Eliga was a natural with a microphone when we first met him two and half years ago and he made this heartfelt plea to our viewers:

"Is there anyone that wants to adopt kids from all different types of facilities? Including me."

Unfortunately, there hasn't been a family yet to answer Eliga's call, but he is still optimistic that he will find a forever home.

"I'd like to be adopted, whoever wants to adopt someone,"

And he holds out hope, with a good sense of humor. Eliga isn't asking for much. He longs to do the type of things kids his age should be able to enjoy with a family.

"Play video games with them, go to the park, go airshow, baseball games, football games, yadda yadda yadda etc etc etc," said Eliga.

Eliga says he loves dogs and he's fascinated by electronics and technology.

The 7th grader is extremely inquisitive and full of questions for Photojournalist Ann Marie Spaulding while testing the features of her video camera.

Eliga needs a forever family that will be nurturing, patient, teach him how to set boundaries and an older sibling, who can be a good role model, would be a bonus.

And just like he was when he was 10, Eliga felt right at home playing the role of reporter and wanted to interview people at the park.

Eliga is hoping he will one day have a parent or parents to love him and once again, he made an earnest request to those who are considering adoption:

"Hopefully you will make the decision, the right decision to adopt a child that needs your help, literately needs your help."

Eliga turns 13-years-old this week and would like an iPod Touch, but he said he'd gladly give that up, in exchange for the gift that has topped his wish list for years:

"Mainly I just want a nice loving family."
