SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An investigation was underway into an altercation in Normal Heights in which a man in his 30s taunted and attacked two 15-year-old boys and was stabbed by one of them, police said.
The stabbing at Adams Avenue and Felton Street was reported at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
Following an exchange of words, the man tried to strike one of the boys with his fist, prompting the boys to run away and the man to give chase, Stafford said in a statement.
The man caught up with the boys and again tried to physically attack them, prompting one of the boys to stab the man in the torso with a knife, he said.
The man showed up at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, he said.
