Chargers draft OLB Williams in 6th round

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers have taken outside linebacker Tourek Williams of Florida International in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

Williams was a three-year starter. He had 6 1/2 sacks and 46 tackles last season.

Earlier Saturday, the Chargers took California cornerback Steve Williams with the 145th pick overall. Williams is just under 5-foot-9 but ran a 4.37 40 at the combine. He had three interceptions last year.
