SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A Camp Pendleton Marine says he was severely hurt when he was sucker punched at a nightclub in the Los Angeles area a couple months ago.

In February, the 22-years-old Marine, going by the name Ryan to protect his identity, was in Santa Monica when witnesses say a man walked up to him, for no apparent reason, and punched him in the face.

Ryan underwent several surgeries to repair eight fractures.

The suspected attacker, caught on camera, is seen as a white or Hispanic male, bald with a moustache and goatee.

Anyone with information in this case, is asked to call the Santa Monica Police Department.
