SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A motorist was arrested early Wednesday after leading police on a pursuit through several City Heights streets, police said.
The pursuit began in the 3400 block of University Avenue at 5:03 a.m., according to San Diego police.
It ended on Poplar Street about 15 minutes later after the suspect's vehicle ran over spike stripes and became disabled.
