DEL MAR (CBS 8) - Charlene Walker doesn't have fond memories of Tim Lambesis over the 13 years she's lived next to his parents' Del Mar house.
"They'd have these parties over here til 2 in the morning and there's beer bottles over the yard," she said. "My yard."
But it was all quiet at the Lambesis family house on Thursday, the same day Tim posted his $2 million bond.
The As I Lay Dying frontman had been in jail since May 7, accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife.
Meggan Lambesis has been laying low since the arrest but Walker says she heard her on Sunday afternoon arguing with Tim's dad Nick, also called "Nico."
"The wife came out of seclusion and was here this weekend and was screaming at Nico, 'It's not about the money it's not about the money but he wouldn't listen to her.'"
Meggan Lambesis was concerned with her estranged husband's newfound infatuation with bodybuilding when she filed for divorce in 2012.
This alleged argument at the family house may mean there have been fights over money.
"She goes, ‘I have my own job, I have my own money, I never want to see him again. All the money can go to Africa."
Meggan and Tim have three adopted African children together. However, Lambesis is not allowed anywhere near his wife and children and must wear a GPS monitoring device.
For Walker, she not only feels sorry for the embattled rock singer, she feels terrified if he returns.
"I'm worried," she said. "I'm thinking he's getting out today and maybe I should get a gun, I'm kind of wondering."
Lambesis is expected in San Diego Superior Court on July 10 for preliminary exam.
