Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Five years ago, Skylar Potter suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car crash near her El Cajon home. She spent two months at Rady Children's Hospital, where she was in a medically induced coma for weeks.

Miraculously, she made a full recovery.

On Friday, Skylar, who is now seven years old, returned to Rady Children's Hospital to say hello to the medical staff that saved her life.

In this Your Stories video, photojournalist Bruce Patch has more on the heartwarming reunion.
