Orphaned baby skunks need new home

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center in Ramona is looking for a new home for six baby skunks.

The orphaned animals were found starving after a school had their mother trapped and relocated. But now the babies have been rehabilitated and are ready to be released.

But according to state law, rescued wildlife must be returned within three miles of the original rescue site and only on land which has the homeowner's approval. Anyone willing to allow them on their property is asked to contact the wildlife center.
