La Jolla taco shop robbed at gunpoint

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A La Jolla taco shop was robbed at gunpoint, and police sought two suspects Sunday, a police officer said.

A gun-wielding man and his accomplice demanded cash from a clerk at Rigoberto's Taco Shop on La Jolla Boulevard near Westbourne Street shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

The suspects received an undisclosed amount and left the business, according to Stafford. No one was injured, he said.

Police described both men as white, in their 20s and between 5-feet-7 and 6 feet tall. Both were wearing dark clothing and boots.
