Chargers training begins in July with practices open to the public

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The San Diego Chargers will open training camp July 25 at Chargers Park with the first of nine practices open to the public, the team announced.

Practices July 26-28, Aug. 1, 5, 10, 12 and 17 will also be open to the public.

Practices July 31 and Aug. 2 will be open for invited season ticket holders.

The team will conduct its annual FanFest Aug. 3 at Qualcomm Stadium.

The Chargers will open preseason play Aug. 8 against the Seattle Seahawks at Qualcomm Stadium. They will begin the regular season Sept. 9 by playing host to the Houston Texans on a Monday night.
