SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Homicide detectives Friday investigated the stabbing death of a man during a fight inside a North Park apartment, police said.

Officers were called to the apartment in the 4000 block of Idaho Street around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Lt. Jorge Duran.

Once there, they found the victim, who was in his 50s, lying unresponsive on a bedroom floor, Duran said in a statement. Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he died.

Another male and a female who were in the apartment when officers arrived were interviewed, he said. No arrests were immediately reported.
