EL CAJON (CBS 8) - The California Highway Patrol reports that a 17-year-old is under arrest, suspected of DUI in a high-speed chase and crash.
An SUV full of teens was spotted driving recklessly on eastbound Interstate 8 around 2:00 a.m. Thursday in El Cajon.
The pursuit reached speeds of more than a hundred miles per hour. The vehicle exited the freeway at Main Street and hit a light pole.
No injuries were reported. Officers say all four teens in the vehicle had been drinking.
