RIVERSIDE (CBS 8) - A missing Chihuahua has found his way home two years after he was stolen from a Riverside home, and News 8 was there for the heartwarming reunion with his family.

Jack, a 2 1/2-year-old Chihuahua was turned in to an animal rescue in Indio, then brought to the Helen Woodward Animal Center.

After checking for a microchip, they found his rightful owner, Heather Adudeell, and learned his name was Scooter.

Scooter/Jack was stolen from the family by a neighbor's boyfriend when the dog was just six months old.
