SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – Three people hurt in a high-speed accident near Chollas Creek are being treated at a local hospital.
Witnesses say a car traveling at a high rate of speed ran a red light and hit a vehicle at the intersection of University Avenue and 54th Street. The car ricocheted into another vehicle.
Three people were rushed to the hospital. Two of them reportedly had serious injuries.
Authorities tell News 8 that they found a suspicious substance in the speeding car, but no arrests have been made.
The condition of the three people transported to the hospital is unknown as of this report.
