SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Abandoned structures in Lakeside and San Diego's Allied Gardens neighborhood caught fire early Monday about an hour apart, authorities said.

At 1:53 a.m., a structure fire was reported in the area of Greenbrier Avenue and Mission Gorge Road in the Allied Gardens area, according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher. It was knocked down within about 40 minutes, he said.
