SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego police are asking for your help identifying a man who's carried out a series of robberies at the same gas station.

Police say the so-called "Groundhog Day Robber" hit the ARCO gas station in the 3700 block of Del Sol Boulevard in Otay Mesa five times in the past eight months, most recently last Friday.

According to police, the man threatened the clerk with a kitchen knife in the first three cases.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 25 and 35 years old, a little more than 5 feet tall with crooked teeth and a thin mustache.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
