SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A credit union branch in Mission Valley was robbed by a man with a demand note and police Saturday were on the lookout for the suspect, a police officer said.

The robber slipped a note to a teller at San Diego County Credit Union on Fenton Parkway near Friars Road shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday, and ran off with an undisclosed amount, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

No one was injured, Stafford said.

Police described the suspect as white, in his 20s with red hair and freckles, and about 5 feet 8 with a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt with a logo on it and was carrying a backpack.
