SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell under $4 for the first time since June 15 Sunday, dropping six-tenths of a cent to $3.996.
The average price has fallen 12 consecutive days and is 5 cents less than one week ago and 2.8 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, it is 14.1 cents more than one year ago.
The average price has dropped 8.4 cents over the past 12 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Saturday.
With just a week to go, many people across the U.S. are buzzing about the "Great American Eclipse."
