SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The frantic search continued Saturday night for an elderly Serra Mesa woman who has been missing for nearly a week.

Saturday afternoon, searchers spread flyers of Mehria Mansury around her neighborhood and went door-to-door looking for clues. Mansury was last seen Tuesday morning at her home in Serra Mesa.

Police are considering Mansury at risk because of her age, 79 - a factor that's adding extra urgency to the search.

Family News 8 spoke to Saturday didn't want to speculate on what may have happened. However Friday, a nephew said Mansury's daughter might be involved. He says that woman, Gazelle Mansury, lived with her mother and the two didn't get along. He also said she has a history with drugs. News 8 was able to confirm several past convictions dealing with drugs and burglary.

Mansury's relatives say they're grateful for the large search effort.

The family also tells News 8 that Mansury probably looks a little thinner than she is in this picture. They are desperate for answers and, as well as authorities, are asking anyone with information to please call the San Diego Police Department.
