The Scream Zone Returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Halloween is a month away, but the Del Mar Fairgrounds have turned into the Del Mar Scaregrounds. The Scream Zone is in its 16th year and is more terrifying and bloodcurdling than ever.

The Scream Zone consists of four terrifying haunts. New this year is your chance to save the planet from the coming zombie apocalypse by putting a hit on the walking dead. Play Zombie Paintball Safari!

Returning is the horrifying House of Horror, along with The Chamber, and the Haunted Hayride, each casting its evil spell on the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

The Scream Zone is considered among the goriest and scariest fright fests in these darkest of corners of Southern California.

The Scream Zone:
Del Mar Fairgrounds
Friday and Saturday: 7:00 p.m. - Midnight
Sunday – Thursday: 7:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m.

Gates open at 6:45 p.m.
