VISTA (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed when he lost control and crashed into a streetlight in Vista, a San Diego County sheriff's deputy said Sunday.
The accident occurred at 9 p.m. Saturday at Thibodo Road and Chaparral Drive, said San Diego County sheriff's Dep. Kenneth Werner.
"A solo motorcyclist traveling eastbound on Thibodo Road lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a streetlight," Werner said. "The motorcyclist, a 49-year-old male, succumbed to his injuries at the scene."
An investigation was underway, he said.
