Work out in pink for breast cancer awareness

LA JOLLA (CBS 8) - How does free fitness classes for everyone sound?

The YMCA in La Jolla, located at 8355 Cliffridge Ave., is opening its doors to everyone Saturday, Oct. 26 and it's all for breast cancer awareness.

The event is called "Work Out In Pink," and there will be a variety of fitness classes for everyone.

Doctors from Scripps will be on hand with information on breast health. There will be an expert bra fitting, an opportunity drawing, refreshments and story sharing.

"Work Out In Pink" begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and will continue until 12:30 p.m.

You don't have to be a member to participate, but you are encouraged to wear pink for breast cancer awareness.
