CrimeFighters Manhunt: Darryl Cannon

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The CBS News 8 CrimeFighters are helping authorities in a countywide manhunt, looking for violent fugitive who's been convicted for sex crimes against children.

He's a registered sex offender known for targeting teen girls. Forty-eight-year-old Darryl Cannon is wanted for violating parole. His criminal history includes rape under the age of 14, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, auto theft and multiple narcotic related offenses.

Cannon is 5'9," 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes eyes. He's known to hang out downtown and may be transient.

If you have any information, you're asked to call San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-TIPS.

If you see this fugitive, please don't approach him instead call police.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. You can give a tip and remain anonymous.
