SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - There's shock and relief Wednesday for a family of a patient who was sexually assaulted at Palomar Hospital after a nurse pleaded guilty to the crime.
"It was nice to see him finally admit that he had assaulted my mom," victim's dauther Kim Bootsma said.
Dale Robinson admitted to the inappropriate touching of an elderly woman and the sexual battery of another as they underwent treatment at the hospital.
He must now surrender his nurse's license and register as a sex offender.
A judge will decide in December if Robinson will serve a one-year jail term.
