SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The woman who pleaded guilty to leaving her infant daughter in a hot car while she shopped has been sentenced to 90 days of home detention and four years probation.

Emergency crews found Starley Cristal Geart's four-month-old daughter unconscious and covered in sweat inside the car parked at a strip mall in National City.

Surveillance video shows the infant was inside the car on a hot day in July 2012 for about 10 minutes before she was spotted by a maintenance worker.

The little girl was treated at Rady Children's Hospital and released into protective custody.
