Piggybackr 1 Million Leaders Challenge

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – The Holy Cows First Robotics Team from High Tech High used a fundraising program called Piggybackr to raise more than $3,000 to help their team build a robot and participate in the First Robotic Competition, which is considered the Super Bowl of "smarts."

They won the Chairman's Award in the World Championship, which is no small feat considering this program is comprised of more than 71,000 high school students from around the world.

Now, the 80 members of the Holy Cows team need your help. They need donations so the team can go back to the World Championships, held Saint Louis, again this year and put San Diego on the map.
