OCEANSIDE (CNS) - A home in Oceanside caught fire early Monday, displacing two adults and a juvenile, according to authorities.
The non-injury fire, in the 100 block of Ely Street, was reported at about 3:20 a.m., according to Oceanside Fire Department officials. The blaze was declared under control at 3:54 a.m., authorities said.
The garage was destroyed in the fire, and the home sustained smoke and heat damage, fire officials said. Damage caused by the fire was estimated at $150,000.
The cause was under investigation.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a former San Diego police officer accused of groping four women during pat-down searches last year.
