SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man and a woman were in custody Tuesday accused of robbing a Burger King fast-food restaurant in San Ysidro, police said.
The armed robbery at 2032 Dairy Mart Road was reported at 10:28 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The man robbed four employees of the business at gunpoint, then fled to waiting vehicle driven by the woman, he said in the statement.
A witness who was outside the business and saw the robbery taking place, helped officers quickly locate the getaway vehicle and the suspects a couple blocks away, Delimitros said.
