SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A gunman fired a shot while robbing a Walmart store in San Diego's Oak Park neighborhood Saturday, police said.

The suspect, armed with a handgun, walked into the store at 3412 College Ave. about 6:20 p.m., demanded cash and fired one round from the weapon, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The man fled with undisclosed sum of money and was last seen in a dark-colored, newer-model Ford Mustang, Stafford said.

He was black, in his 30s and wore a black hoodie over a black hat and dark jeans, Stafford said.

No injuries were reported.
