SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Tuesday released photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at a Wal-Mart store.

The suspect entered the store at 3412 College Ave. at 6:23 p.m. Saturday and went to the customer service counter.

He had a white plastic bag from which he removed a handgun. He then walked behind the service register and demanded that the customer service representatives open their registers, said San Diego Police Department Detective Gary S. Hassen.

He started becoming agitated when he felt the customer service representatives were taking too long and fired a shot into a wall.

A witness said the man disappeared in a newer model gray or silver Lexus with tinted windows and black rims.

The man was described as black, in his mid-to-late-20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, of medium build, with facial stubble, dreadlocks or long braided hair. He was wearing a black knit cap, a black sweatshirt and black pants.

Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call (619) 531-2299.
