Doe raise me: Fawn rescue saving baby deer

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A unique rescue group is in need of a new home.

Fawn Rescue is one of only two services in all of Southern California that rescues orphaned fawns.

Their mission is to locate and foster the fawns after their parents are killed, but that mission is in jeopardy. They've had to leave their old facility, and need to raise funds to get into a new one.

In this CBS News 8 video report, Shawn Styles speaks with one of the volunteers.
