SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 57-year-old man was attacked by two men in the Downtown area and was stabbed twice, police said Friday.
The man was assaulted around 11:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue near C Street, San Diego police Sgt. L. Taylor said.
The victim was stabbed twice in his torso during the confrontation, then the assailants ran off, Taylor said.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Taylor said.
