This year's hottest toys for girls

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Black Friday means tackling that Christmas list one person at a time. So if you have a little girl in your family we have got you covered.

Rather than giving you a long list of toys she may want, we've narrowed down the hottest toys for girls to two.

A blockbuster toy that will keep your child engaged for hours with instructional videos: the rainbow loom is currently the biggest fad among elementary school kids.

The $15 loom kit allows kids to make colorful friendship bracelets, rings and even necklaces.

Our second must have toy for Christmas is the newest Mattel line of Playline Dolls called Monster High. The dolls start at $20 and a special edition of Draculaura comes with a jewelry box coffin.
