VISTA (CNS) - A bank branch in Vista was robbed by a man who claimed he had a gun, although none was seen, sheriff's officials said Saturday.

The robbery at the California Bank & Trust, at 140 Civic Center Drive, was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, an official with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 20 and around 5 feet 4 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black cap, a gray-and-white checkered jacket and jeans.
