Two arrested for DUI after rollover crash

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two people are facing DUI charges after a rollover crash in Kearny Mesa Wednesday night.

Police say a pickup truck was being driven at a high rate of speed when it hit a sign post and flipped over around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Balboa Avenue off-ramp from northbound SR 163.

The man was not hurt, but he was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

While police had the road blocked, another car drove around the squad cars, putting officers on alert. That driver was stopped and also arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
