CARLSBAD (CNS) - Legoland California in Carlsbad will celebrate New Year's Eve early Tuesday evening with various kid-friendly musical acts, fireworks and actress Tiffani Thiessen.
Thiessen, best known for her roles on the TV shows "Saved by the Bell" and "Beverly Hills 90210," will be joined by her family as she leads an early countdown to 2014 at the North County theme park, according to Legoland officials.
Instead of the usual midnight countdown, Legoland will ring the New Year at 6 p.m. Fireworks will immediately follow.
Leading up to the countdown, several musical acts will perform on the park's Miniland USA Stage. The acts include Justin Roberts & his Not Ready for Naptime Players, The Pop Ups, Aaron Nigel Smith and the Fundamentals, Secret Agent 23 Skiddoo, and Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band.
The cost to enjoy this evening's festivities is included with regular park admission.
