SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Crews worked Wednesday to repair a water main that ruptured near Fashion Valley Mall. The break prompted authorities to close all but one lane in each direction on a stretch of Friars Road, police said.
The break was near the Bloomingdale's store at the mall at 7057 Friars Road, and was first reported about 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police.
Crews estimated that repairs would be completed and the lanes reopened about noon, police said.
