SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Chargers players are reacting to the arrest of a team member in the Gaslamp.

Linebacker Thomas Keiser was arrested Sunday night outside of Barley Mash just hours after the team's playoff-clinching win.

The bar owners say Keiser and his dad were asked by security to leave the restaurant because his father had too much to drink and that Keiser returned an hour later and ambushed an employee.

A fellow player and the Chargers head coach say they're aware of the incident.

"Thomas is our teammate, our family, we support him until they figure all of that out. We are worried about the Bengals. I don't know what's going on with all of that and Coach McCoy can answer all those questions if he feels he wants to," said Eric Weddle.

"Well we've released a statement the other day as an organization and I am going to leave it at that," said Mike McCoy.

Keiser is facing a misdemeanor battery charge.
