LAKESIDE (CNS) - A traffic accident involving a big rig injured one person and prompted part of northbound state Route 67 to be closed for about an hour early Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash at Slaughterhouse Canyon Road was reported at 5:33 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which diverted traffic onto San Vicente Road until around 6:45 a.m.
Paramedics took one person to Sharp Memorial Hospital, a Heartland dispatcher said. The extent of the injury and the identity of the injured person were not immediately released.
