Businesses show Bolts pride in blue and gold

Watch the Chargers vs. Broncos game Sunday starting at 1 p.m. on CBS 8.

NATIONAL CITY (CBS 8) - Charger pride is painting the town in National City.

Businesses and community members are bolting up ahead of Sunday's big showdown in Denver.

They may be called the San Diego Chargers, but no city loves the Bolts better than National City. More than a dozen businesses are showing their team spirit by decorating their stores.

At ACME Safety and Supply, employees are being encouraged to dress in Chargers gear and colors all week. They also have two unique signs in front of their business made specifically for Sunday's game.

Aunt Emma's Pancakes on National City Boulevard is looking into replacing the Denver omelette on its menu with a Chargers Pride pancake.

After last Sunday's win against the CIncinnati Bengals, hundreds of National City residents flooded Highland Avenue wearing Chargers gear and colors to celebrate the win.  The party is sure to be even bigger this Sunday after beating Denver.
