Thousands attend Padres FanFest

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Thousands of people packed into Petco Park Saturday for the annual Padres FanFest.

About two dozen players were there to meet with fans. Some even offering pitching and hitting instructions.

Many people were given the chance to see what goes on behind the scenes during the games.

The event was free to the public.

    A parade of tow trucks on Friday brought hundreds of cars up from two underground garages at the University of California, Los Angeles, that flooded when 20 million gallons of water spewed from a broken main. 
    The famed hardwood court at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion will be replaced because of damage caused when 20 million gallons of water cascaded onto campus from a broken water main, the school announced Friday.
