The Vivoom iPhone app transforms personal videos on the iPhone using the same high-quality TV/Film editing technology that made GenArt famous yet shares video clips to social media without upload delays.

San Francisco, February 10, 2014 – Blue Rocket, a leading custom mobile application design and development firm, announced today that it has partnered with GenArts, Inc, the global leader in specialized visual effects for TV and film, to create a unique iPhone app called Vivoom.
The Blue Rocket team accelerated Vivoom’s time to market by applying their iOS video-editing and app development expertise to create a complex, yet user-friendly iPhone solution that allows users to share their video clips on social media in seconds. The Guardian named the Vivoom iPhone app one of 20 best iPhone apps in January 2014. The app is currently available for download in Apple’s iTunes App store.
Vivoom targets the 8 billion videos shot by mobile users last year that went unshared. The app is a simple, single-button editing tool that allows users to take personal videos and create 15-second clips with special effects and then quickly upload the enhanced clip to Twitter, Facebook, SMS or to the Vivoom network. The Blue Rocket team of expert designers and developers solved the problem of long wait-times typically associated with sharing digitally enhanced videos to social media. The innovative solution uploads the original video in the background to the Vivoom server as the user is making his or her special effects and editing selections. Final edits are then applied to the already uploaded video. The video clip is quickly transformed and ready for social media sharing.
“We know that users of video editing apps desire the ability to progress seamlessly and quickly from editing directly to sharing. Our team developed a technically advanced solution that addresses this need by delivering a user friendly mobile app experience that has both special-effects quality and speed at its core,” says Jess Taylor, CEO of Blue Rocket, Inc.
