CrimeFighters Manhunt: Scott Gothier

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The News 8 CrimeFighters are helping authorities in a countywide manhunt for a fugitive registered sex offender who can't seem to stay out of trouble.

Scott Gothier, 54, is wanted by US marshals and the California Parole Apprehension Team for violating terms of his release. He's a registered sex offender with criminal history of assault to commit rape, burglary and drug related offenses.

Gothier is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. He's known to frequent downtown San Diego and El Cajon. If you have any information, call San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-TIPS.

If you see this fugitive, please don't approach him. Instead, call police

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. You can give a tip and remain anonymous.
