SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – A grassroots fitness movement is spreading like wildfire across the country and now the November Project is in San Diego.

The November Project is a concept in which people meet up to get fit for free.

It's an idea of exercising through community that makes it motivating and fun. The concept is described as a flash mob-like workout. The project started in Boston and is also in Philadelphia, Denver and now San Diego.

If you would like to be part of the local chapter of the November Project, you can meet at Kate Sessions Park in Pacific Beach every Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. CLICK HERE for more information.
