SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A memorial was held at the Old Globe Theater for the beloved prop master who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in January.

Seamus O'Bryan, 32, was remembered for his love of life, as friends shared their stories.

On January 31, O'Bryan was hit and killed by a driver while riding his motorcycle on University Avenue at Granada Avenue in North Park.

The driver fled in a suspected 1998 to 2000 off-white two-door Cadillac Eldorado, and hasn't been caught.

O'Bryan was known as a prop master at the Old Globe Theater and he also worked at La Jolla's Playhouse. He was a humanitarian and volunteered in the 2010 Haiti earthquake aftermath.

"We can't take anything for granted that we have to live every moment that is so important. He lived every moment, he didn't waste a second and I think many of us find that there are many seconds that we waste during the day, during our lives and he taught us not to waste anything," said Michael Murphy, Old Globe Theater Managing Director.

The getaway vehicle also may have damage to the passenger side bumper, stock wheels and tinted windows.

If you have any information, call the San Diego Police Traffic Division at (858) 495-7806.
