MONTCLAIR, N.J., Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Van Dyk Health Care, Inc. (www.vandykhealthcare.com) is pleased to announce that Dr. Marc Morresi, Medical Director for Van Dyk Health Care's Montclair facility, has been elected to the Hackensack UMC Mountainside Board of Trustees.
Dr. Morresi officially started his new appointment to the Board of Trustees on February 1, 2014. Along with other hospital senior leaders, doctors and community members, he will be involved in overseeing the supervision of the hospital including operations, finances, branding and employee relations.

A New Jersey native who was born and raised in Bloomfield, Dr. Morresi's professional background spans work in neuroscience research, acute care medicine, and long-term care, including previous positions at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and UMDNJ-The University Hospital. In addition to serving as the Medical Director at Van Dyk Health Care in Montclair, Dr. Morresi heads up a private practice, Morresi Medical Associates, LLC, in Bloomfield, NJ and serves on Hackensack UMC Mountainside's Credential Committee as well as the Crimson Committee. He graduated residency from UMDNJ-NJ Medical School in 2009 in Internal Medicine and served as Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center from 2009-2010.
