My Kids Clubhouse: Indoor fun for everyone

Posted: Updated:

CHULA VISTA (CBS 8) - When it rains, they pour into My Kids Clubhouse. Even on a sunny day in Bonita, this indoor hangout is popular with the under-8 crowd and their chill craving parents.

"Moms can come here. Dads bring the kids. It's fun. It's safe environment for them to play, get some of that energy out," Stephanie Antin said.

For crawlers to climbers, this hyperactive supervised playhouse offers refuge from the storm. It's the perfect place for a princess, although the dress code is bit more casual. A onesy is appropriate attire.

"Even when you can go outside, we create a nice environment here," Stephanie said.

And there are many way to pay for play.

"You can just pay for the day. Come in and play. If you like us and you're going to be coming a lot, memberships and punch cards," Stephanie said.

You can join in the fun.

"All the equipment is built for adults," Stephanie said.

Or just kick back and let them run.

"This is a place where the moms can get a break," Stephanie said.

"I can just sit and relax and be on my iPad. My phone or have my book and I can read while my son goes and plays. He loves it here," one mother said.

If you just check up every now and then, you can even catch up on your paperwork.

But I warn you: you can only sit on the sidelines for so long. There are heights to be scaled, mazes to be maneuvered, crawls to be conquered and slides to glide.

Here it's almost impossible to act your age. If you get hungry, My Kids Clubhouse has a cafe and they host birthday parties and camps as well. Rain or shine, they are here to make sure every day is beautiful in Bonita.
