Man killed in Webster shooting ID'd

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday released the name of a 20-year-old man who was fatally shot last weekend in a Webster-area neighborhood.

Officers responding to a report of a person lying on the ground in the 4500 block of Federal Boulevard found Paris Von Hill of San Diego mortally wounded about 6:30 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene, Lt. Mike Hastings said.

A witness reported hearing an argument and at least one gunshot in the area earlier in the morning, and then saw two men speed away in a gray four-door car, the lieutenant said.

Police have released no suspected motive for the shooting.
